Rej & Shazna - Wedding

Date – February 2015

Venue – The British Muslim Heritage Centre, Manchester

Videography – Unique Films

Make Up Artist – Shafika MUA

When we arrived at Shazna’s house, we were pleased to see that she acted on our advice and kept her room as clutter free as possible (great for photographers and videographers) allowing us plenty of space to work some magic with her photos. We worked alongside Farhan and his team from Unique Films, awesome guy and fantastic work, highly recommended.

Shazna started her day nice and early, a fantastic way to steadily enjoy the entire day. Shafika the makeup artist was chatty and bubbly, she did wonders keeping shazna calm and content whilst giving Shazna a beautiful timeless look and allowing us the opportunity to capture the beautiful yet subtle transformation.

Shaznas day was planned extremely well; Jamal, the wedding planner at the British Muslim Heritage Centre did an excellent job of ensuring everything was perfect for the happy couple. Unfortunately, since the groom was travelling all the way from London, the groom’s party were running over an hour late. However once Rej arrived the remainder of their day flowed beautifully.

Whilst the food was served, we went for a quick shoot around the Gothic Revival building and we were also fortunate to have the couple stay for a short while at the end of the day.

Just want to thank Shazna and Rej for choosing me to capture their big day. Having the opportunity to shoot in low light gave me the chance to get closer to my objective of mastering off camera flash.
