Scotland is amazing for those in search of stunning venues, there are countless options. This was certainly a grand venue with so many photo opportunities. The reception room was perfect for some bridal poses as you will see in this post. The weather was perfect for the outdoor couple shots during lunch and after the event.
Wow, you must see how stunning the setup and decor was at this mehendi! It was a fun packed event with plenty of banter and laughter throughout. We had enough time to take bridal and family portraits in the sunny weather outside before the mehendi kicked off and the party was in full swing.
The fourth event from these guys and this day was the most chilled. We started the day off at the hotel where Salman and Maha were staying for the getting ready shots. We then planned a couples shoot just before the event started and also a brief one at the end.
Keeping it short for this post. Here are some of the key shots of the day.
This was quite some time ago so it’s hard to recall much about this event. It was our first wedding in Portsmouth where the Asian community is quite small and everyone knows each other.
Luko got in touch after seeing our work online, having previously been in the wedding industry, he knew what he wanted from for his photography. Rujina also happens to work within the industry as a bridal make up artist so they both planned their wedding according to their experience.
We’ve selected a few photos from the event, highlighting the ‘gate’ which is a traditional Bengali way of welcoming the groom, the part where the brides sibling all feed the groom at once and a traditional Bengali ‘bidai’ which is usually a very emotional goodbye. And of course the couple shots during dinner and after the event.

So I wanted to start blogging about the events I attend, what I learn, challenges and opportunities I come across and any techniques or equipment I have been testing out. Occasionally, I will post 'personal' blog posts which are purely created to learn and teach what I have learnt to any upcoming photographers out there...
